Problems that raise their heads in present and require crores in investment to fix can be traced back to lack of statesmanship and vision in leaders of the past.
E.g. Mumbaikar's disgruntlement with the federal state government and their demand for better government 'due to higher taxes paid' The crores to be invested in developing Mumbai now at the cost of farmer suicides in other places in Maharashtra.
Naxalism in Indian states. and the crores being spent in security forces.
Same for J&K
Same for Siachen, 3 crores per day !
